2018 Clery Act Annual Safety Report and Annual Fire Report Lori L. Perry 2/13/2018 9:00:57 AM

Moberly Area Community College is committed to assisting all members of the MACC community in providing for their own safety and security. The annual security and fire safety compliance document is available on the MACC website at www.macc.edu/crime-stats. If you would like to receive a hard copy of the Annual Security Report which contains this information, stop by the MACC Security Department located inside Student Services, 12 Komar Hall, or you can request that a copy be mailed to you by calling (660)263-4100 x11247. The website and publication contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, campus security officers, crime reporting policies, alcohol and other drug information and available training, disciplinary procedures, sexual misconduct and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. They also contain information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on our campuses, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. This information is required by law and is provided by the MACC Security Department with cooperation from local law enforcement agencies. The report is published annually prior to October 1st.

Purchasing Books with Financial Aid Amy M Hager 8/1/2016 11:00:00 AM

Can I get financial aid to cover the cost of my books?

Yes!

First - check you schedule/Student Data Sheet to see if you have classes with a Resource Fee; the cost is already included in your charges.  Make sure you understand how the online resources work.  You should not need to buy a book for classes with online resources. Please ask questions if you do not understand!

If you have enough financial aid to cover the costs of your tuition and fees and other institutional charges, and have a credit balance on your account, you can use a Book Voucher at any MACC Bookstore to purchase your textbooks and supplies.

Book Vouchers are generally available one week prior to the first day of classes and can be used until your aid is credited to your student account. During that time period, you can take your class schedule to the Bookstore at any campus to find your books and supplies and charge them to your student account to be paid with your financial aid. You must be present with your student I.D. to use the Book Voucher system. Only the student may charge his or her own books. Restrictions may apply.

FALL BOOK VOUCHERS BEGIN: August 15, 2016

You may use a book voucher until financial aid is disbursed to your student account, which will be September 21 -  if your financial aid is fully processed and awarded on time.  If you completed the financial aid process late, you may use a book voucher beyond this date - up to the actual date your financial aid is disbursed.

Questions?  You can email the financial aid office at finaid@macc.edu - we will respond within 24 hours!

Best wishes for a most successful semester!
