Applying to MACC is a simple step-by-step process. Keep in mind that certain programs (e.g. Health Science Programs, Veterinary Technology, etc.) have strict admission requirements and require additional admission applications. General college admission, in most cases, is guaranteed after you complete the steps below.
Your first step to becoming a MACC student is to complete an admissions application.
If you have previously attended MACC, including as a dual-credit/dual-enrollment student, you are not required to reapply.
Once your application has been submitted, allow 24-48 hours for processing (except on weekends).
You will receive an Acceptance Letter a week after your application has been processed.
There is no fee for completing the admissions application.

After completing your admissions application, you will need to send your official transcripts to MACC.
All students enrolled in college credit classes must provide or have on file proof of high school graduation (with Graduation Date and A+ seal if applicable), HISET (formally GED), or equivalent by the completion of the first ten days of class in a 16-week semester or the equivalent in a shorter session. High school students enrolled through dual-credit or dual-enrollment programs and persons with proof of an associate or higher degree are excluded from this requirement. Once a dual-credit or dual-enrolled student has graduated and enrolled in college credit classes, they must provide or have on file proof of high school graduation (or equivalent) by the completion of the first ten days of class in a 16-week semester of the equivalent in a shorter session.
In addition, all degree-seeking students must submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (including as a dual-credit student) by the completion of the first ten days of class in a 16-week semester or the equivalent in a shorter session. All previously earned college credits will be evaluated individually (see Transferring Credit to MACC).
All degree-seeking students (including part-time and full-time students) should apply for financial aid. Completing the FAFSA is the first step.
In addition, students may apply for loans, college work-study, scholarships, and the A+ program.

All new, degree-seeking students are required to meet with an MACC Advisor to enroll in classes.
All currently or previously enrolled, non-degree seeking and visiting students may meet with an MACC Advisor or self-enroll in classes (*classes that require placement or completion of a prerequisite will require advisor approval for enrollment).
